Crisis Services for Youth

Youth Services

Provides 24-hour a day, 7 days a week crisis residential services for male and female youth ages 10-17 who are ungovernable, at risk of becoming runaways, or experiencing serious parent-child conflicts.


Medicaid (or another Insurance) is not required to access Vantage Point services.  

Juvenile Receiving

Provides a 24-hour a day, 7 days a week reception, screening, and evaluation service for juvenile offenders who do not meet criteria for secure detention.

More Services for Children, Youth, and Families.  

An array of other services are also available for children and youth as well as families upon referral after assessing your needs and goals and as part of your individualized Recovery Plan.  Talk with your intake therapist or member of your treatment team about these programs.

Provides services to children ages 3-5 who have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Pre-school program offered in several different locations.  Giant Steps also provides supportive education programs that teach parents and families to encourage, educate, and advocate for their child’s needs.

XCEL Adolescent Day Treatment Program.  Provides social skills, emotional regulation skills, and coping strategies for adolescents with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and teens with developmental delays.

New Vista.  Provides outpatient, day treatment, and step-down services for male and female youth, ages 9-18 who have sexual behavior problems.  Meet our staff.  

Aspire.  A residential care/treatment program for female youth, ages 12 to 18, who are in DCFS custody.  Meet our staff.

Stride.  After school day treatment services to assist children ages 5 to 12 who are experiencing challenges with behavior and social skills due to mental illness.

WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE MEDICAID INSURANCE?

No Insurance?

The Wellness Recovery Clinic (WRC) provides services to individuals who are uninsured or underinsured who meet income criteria.  WMH also receives funding through contracts and grants to provide some services in the Family Clinics and in select Schools.
