Hospitalization If you need to be hospitalized for mental health care, the hospital must contact Wasatch Mental Health for approval within 24-hours of admission. Emergency Services Wasatch Mental Health provides 24-hour crisis care. If you are in Utah County and need emergency services call the emergency number: (801) 373-7393 If you need emergency treatment and are outside the Utah County area, go to the nearest provider. Transportation If you do not have your own transportation to and from your mental health appointments, request a Utah Transit Authority (UTA) bus pass from your caseworker at the Department of Workforce Services at (801) 374-7740.
Medicaid Card You must have your Medicaid card available at the time of service. Your Rights You have the right to get mental health care regardless of your race, color, nationality, disability, age, sex or religion. If you feel you have been treated unfairly or discriminated against for any reason, click here or call (801) 373-4760. If you have a complaint about services, please discuss your complaint with your therapist. You also have the right to file a formal grievance with Wasatch Mental Health. Just request a client complaint and grievance form from any Wasatch secretary. If you are not satisfied with Wasatch's decision regarding your formal grievance, you may also request a hearing with Medicaid. You can also discus your complaint with Medicaid by calling: 1-(800)-662-9651 or (801) 538-6155. Medical Services Wasatch Mental Health provides only mental health services. Medical benefits are provided by your HMO or other medical provider. If you need information regarding medical services, call Medicaid information at 1-(800)-662-9651.
