Daily Schedule

Each day includes social skills lessons, group behavior management, and Community Development Events (CODE) to help adolescents generalize skills to real life situations.

Behavior Management

Good behavior is rewarded using a grade system.  Adolescents can advance or drop a grade based on home, school, and group behavior.  Participating and practicing skills in all settings will enable participants to earn privileges.

Behavior Notes

A behavior note will be sent home daily with two specific goals to improve behaviors at home, school, and the community.  Goals will be determined together by the adolescent, parents, and therapist.  Parents and adolescents will review and sign the behavior note each day to track progress on the goals.

Educational Enrichment

On Fridays during the school year, some members of the XCEL program will meet at Utah Valley University.  Adolescents will be able to engage with students on campus to expose them to a variety of different aspects of college.

Our mental health services are voluntary and parental or legal guardian consent is required prior to formally initiating a referral.  Please call Lena at (801) 319-1142.
