Psychological Assessment Services Staff

Stuart J. Spendlove, Ph.D., has worked as a licensed clinical psychologist since 2012 and is the Program Manager for Psychological Assessment Services (PAS), Medical Services, and Outside Providers. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Spanish and then earned his Master’s and Doctoral degrees at Texas Tech University in 2006 and 2009, respectively. Dr. Spendlove completed his predoctoral internship at the UCSD/VA consortium and then obtained a post-doctoral position as a Bilingual Clinical Research Psychologist at the UCSD Autism Center of Excellence from 2009 to 2012. He has worked in community mental health since 2012 through work at an FQHC in San Diego and through private practice in Lubbock, Texas.

Dr. Spendlove specializes in psychological assessments of infants, children, teens, and adults for various diagnoses related to Autism, emotional difficulties, behavioral problems, disability questions, and risk assessment. In therapy, Dr. Spendlove is trained to work with individuals of all ages as well as families and couples with various difficulties. He has experience and training in CBT, TF-CBT, Parent Management Training, and other empirically supported treatments designed to help people with serious or chronic mental health conditions. Dr. Spendlove can render all services in Spanish in addition to English.

A father of 9 and an outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Spendlove also enjoys hiking, camping, swimming, bicycling, and attending sporting events with his wife and children.

Shannon Cayer

Shannon Cayer, Psy.D., Training Director, has been working at Wasatch Behavioral Health since she was a Health Service Psychology Intern in 2018. Now, Dr. Cayer serves as the Health Service Psychology Internship Program Training Director, and does psycho-diagnostic and neurocognitive evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults in PAS. Dr. Cayer loves doing psychotherapy and her clinical interests include traumatic stress, compassion fatigue and burnout, LGBTQ+ and related topics, relational distress, and self-esteem/self-image issues. As she was trained at an integrated medical school, Dr. Cayer prioritizes integrating all aspects of health into treatment. She also does psychotherapy at a private practice.

Dr. Cayer grew up in New Hampshire and then completed her undergraduate and graduate education in Arizona where she fell in love with the desert. Utah has given her a wonderful balance of the New England and Arizona climates. She and her partner enjoy road trips, weekend getaways into the mountains, and exercising their dogs, a corgi-border collie named Tiny, and black lab-Australian shepherd named Poppy, who require a lot of attention.

Kalley Waller, Psy.D., graduated with her doctoral degree from the University of St. Thomas and completed the Health Service Psychology Internship with Wasatch Behavioral Health in June of 2024. As a resident in Psychological Assessment Services, Kalley primarily conducts neuropsychological assessments and does some therapy. A majority of her training has been in community mental health, with other experiences in private practice and medical settings. She has worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds who have faced a variety of mental and behavioral health concerns. While she has treated many unique individuals, her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, ADHD, chronic health conditions, self-image, women’s issues, advocacy, and the LGBTQ+ community. Kalley takes an integrated, person-centered, and strengths-based approach in her care with clients and their families. She strives to be collaborative, understanding, accepting, and empowering in her work with others.

In her free time, Kalley enjoys reading, bullet journaling, watching hockey, and snuggling with her bulldog. She also likes planning themed parties, hearing a good ghost story, and pontooning in her home state of Minnesota.

Mike Wilkins, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist and the Program Manager over Clinical Performance and Compliance. He has a doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology and specializes in grief and bereavement. Dr. Wilkins works with all ages, couples and families on a variety of mental health issues. He also provides psychological assessments.

2026 - 2027 Psychology Interns

Nicole Krogmeier

Nicole Krogmeier is a psychology intern and doctoral candidate at Fielding Graduate University, pursuing her PhD in Clinical Psychology. She has an M.A. in general psychology and an M.S. in clinical psychology. She has been working in neuropsychology for over two years. She also has experience in inpatient facilities, including inpatient hospitals and a state hospital, where she worked with the severe mental illness population and individuals who were found not guilty by reason of insanity and incompetent to stand trial. She recently defended her dissertation on self-compassion and posttraumatic growth during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her major areas of interest include neuropsychology, psychological assessment, traumatic stress, LGBTQ+, mood disorders, eating disorders, severe and persistent mental illness, women’s issues, self-compassion, and community advocacy.

Kiki Ariyo

Kikioyin (Kiki) Ariyo is a clinical psychology PsyD candidate at the Florida School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University. She is passionate about working with underserved adolescent through adulthood aged populations. Her clinical interests surround culturally sensitive approaches to treatment and culturally adapted interventions across clinical presentations. Her dissertation is focused on identifying culturally sensitive interventions to support immigrant origin adolescents experiencing acculturative distress. Her goal is to serve the community and offer services to individuals who have less access to care while emphasizing their strengths and resilience. Outside of work, Kiki enjoys spending time with friends and family, learning about different cultures through food, music and travel, playing video games, and making lattes!

Caitlin Chiri (1)

Caitlin Chiri is a clinical psychology PsyD student at Adler University.  She completed a Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology (MSCP) at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology to work toward prescription privileges following graduation and licensure. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in residential facilities, private practice, schools, and community settings. Her clinical interests include neurodevelopment, trauma, and the complex biological, psychological, and environmental factors that influence well-being. Her current research interests include educator experiences with community violence, school connectedness, and student outcomes. She hopes to continue expanding her knowledge in trauma-informed care, multidisciplinary collaboration, family systems therapy, and psychopharmacology. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring with her dogs, bedazzling, crafting, and spending time with friends and family.

Krista Marashli

Krista Marashli is a PsyD student in the Clinical Psychology program at The Chicago School’s Chicago campus. Her clinical interests include working with individuals across the lifespan, with particular interest in neuropsychological assessment and intervention for children with neurodevelopmental disorders and complex presentations. She is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care that considers each person’s unique strengths, experiences, and needs. Her professional goals include continuing to develop a personal style as a clinician and providing meaningful support to individuals and their families. Outside of her clinical work, Krista enjoys spending time with family, baking, trying new foods, and being outdoors. She also enjoys learning about different cultures, traveling, and creating meaningful connections with the people around her.
